Where Poblado is towers on hills, Laureles is mid-rises on a grid you can walk end to end. Its café scene is the city’s real coworking network, and international "coolest neighborhood" nods in recent years only confirmed what long-stayers already knew. The trade: less English spoken, fewer international restaurants — which for a month-plus stay is usually the point.
